Welcome to our guesthouse in the south of Alentejo, the beautiful and tranquil hill country bordering the Algarve.

The guesthouse is furnished in a modern style, mixed with the rustic Alentejo house features.
Despite the quiet and relatively remote location of Villa Corte Velha, the county of the Algarve can be reached quickly via the IC1 and the beaches of the west coast  also in about 50 minutes through very sinic landscapes.

The closest shopping facilities are in Sao Marcos da Serra (19 kilometres IC1 south) and Ourique (46 kilometres IC1 north).
The well-known towns of Monchique, Silves, Odemira and Albufeira, as well as the beaches on the south and west coasts, are also within an hour's drive.

The nearest bathing area is the Santa Clara reservoir (with 600 km of coastline), about 35 minutes away by car and about 3-4 hours on foot through the beautiful hilly landscape.
Faro airport is about 75 minutes away from here.

Weekly direct supply of fresh, regional vegetables and citrus fruits in organic quality!
On Wednesdays we can take orders from you to our local vegetable farmer and deliver it to your door on Fridays.
